About Intercept Training Concepts
Welcome to the ITC web site although we primarily provide Close Protection training we also supply Close Protection services also referred to as Bodyguarding services, VIP protection services or PSD services depending where you are in the world and what your function is.
The words designated to describe Close Protection training varies around the world as a result of being developed in different countries by different of the countries forces whether Military or police. They are therefore referred to as Bodyguarding training, Close Protection training, VIP protection training, Executive Protection training or PSD training, it may also fall under security training but this encompasses too much of a large area of security to be specific. It is al the same thing just with different designation.
The designation for a Close Protector can be the follows Operator, CP (Close Protector), VIP protector, PSD operator (personal security detail operator), security agent or a Bodyguard which is the most well known of the words used to designate a person who protects someone from danger as a professional.
